NEIECC proudly co-leads Hoosier Milestones alongside a guiding team of dedicated partners across Indiana. Together, we’re working to build a stronger, more unified voice for early childhood—one that can effectively shape policy, remove systemic barriers, and support real progress for providers, families, and communities. This work isn’t ours alone—we support and coordinate with county coalitions to provide advocacy tools, amplify local voices, and align efforts across the state. Local Advocacy That Elevates Northeast Indiana’s Voice

NEIECC leads local advocacy efforts to ensure Northeast Indiana is heard at the state level. We’ve hosted legislative lunches, spoken at Early Childhood Day at the Statehouse, and are launching our Lunch with Our Littlest Learners series—bringing together legislators, community leaders, and the voices of young children across the region. By creating these spaces for connection and understanding, we’re helping decision-makers see firsthand the importance of investing in early care and education—and making sure our region’s needs and opportunities are front and center.
